Be aware that not all of us crawl into bed, cover our head and cry. Many people show they sadness through anger Depression , being nice-nasty, withholding love from others and themselves.
Depression is a struggle you can make it through, it just may take time. DrBev is the first to tell you that sadness is a natural part of life; however, if you go through an intense unhappy period that lasts for more than a several weeks, it is probably a sign of depression.
Remember, everybody does depression differently, yes; they may do the exact opposite of what is expected of a depressed person. I once knew a woman that the more depressed she became the better she took care of herself, externally.
